Receta: Hummus

El hummus es un recurso muy interesante porque, para qué nos vamos a engañar… ¡normalmente vamos más bien justitos de legumbres! Así que es una alternativa rica y diferente para introducirlas en nuestra alimentación diaria.

Cierto es, que en el supermercado hay opciones bastante decentes y que nos sirven para salir del paso y hacer un picoteo en casa en esos días que no tenemos tiempo.

Pero son hummus que normalmente contienen menos cantidad de garbanzos y más contenido en aceite (entre ellos el de girasol refinado), en comparación con el hummus tradicional que podríamos hacer en casa con AOVE y en no más de 10-15 minutos.

Así que si dispones de ese tiempo y te animas a prepararlo tú, aquí tienes la lista de ingredientes que debe de llevar un buen hummus casero:

  • 1 bote grande de garbanzos de conserva
  • 1 cucharada de tahini (pasta de semillas de sésamo)
  • 1-2 cucharadas de AOVE
  • Zumo de ½ o 1 limón (al gusto)
  • 1 diente de ajo
  • 1 cucharadita de comino
  • Pimentón de la Vera al gusto
  • 1 pizca de sal

Tan sencillo como pasar los garbanzos por agua para eliminar el líquido conservante y batir todo con el brazo o en la thermomix. Espolvorear el pimentón y servir para picotear con palitos de zanahoria, pimientos de colores, pan integral…
